BetterTori offers two powerful map visualization tools to help you understand the geographic distribution of items on Tori.fi.
Tori Item Map
View precise geographic boundaries for individual Tori listings. When you open any item, see exactly where it's located with interactive boundary visualization.
Best for:
- Understanding exactly where a specific item is located
- Seeing neighborhood boundaries and context

Map Page
Compare multiple product categories simultaneously on an interactive map. View items from different categories (iPhones, PlayStations, bikes) with color-coded markers.
Best for:
- Comparing prices across regions
- Finding the best deals within your travel radius
- Identifying geographic patterns for different products

How Boundaries Are Determined
BetterTori uses multiple data sources to find the most accurate boundaries:
- OpenStreetMap - Primary source for geographic boundaries
- Finnish Postal Service - Postal code area boundaries
- Cached Data - Frequently requested areas are cached for faster loading
When Boundaries Aren't Available
In some cases, exact boundaries may not be available for very small or newly developed areas. When this happens:
- The map will still show the general location
- A circular area indicates the approximate region
- You can still zoom and explore the surrounding area
Getting Started
- For individual items: Open any Tori listing and scroll to the map section
- For category comparison: Navigate to the Map Page from the main menu and select your product categories
Both map features respect seller privacy by showing general areas only, not exact street addresses.
Parsed Emails
Track and review your Tori.fi email processing history. See which emails were parsed, what items were found, and analyze your notification trends over time.
